Is dancing your first love? Don’t let anything stop you from going ahead and enjoying yourself. But remember to always put on dance performance wear before you hit the floor. Dance performance wear are different from the normal clothes that we wear daily. They give you freedom of movement which in turn helps your moves look clean and precise. They prevent sweat from accumulating and making you feel uncomfortable, thus making them the ideal clothes to wear while you dance away to glory.

Always consider your body type i.e. is it pear shape, apple shape, hourglass or boy shape when choosing dance clothes for girls. Choose a costume that flatters your body after all, you want to feel comfortable and at ease when you dance. Choose stretchy materials like Lycra or cotton or other breathable fabrics for ease of movement. Choose colors that will enhance mood. For example, the color blue is calm, red is hot and yellow is happy. Choose vibrant colors to keep you energetic.

Always remember to choose modern dance costumes that do not inhibit your ability to move. Stay away from long skirts or long track pants as they may get in the way while dancing. You could use tight, comfortable, stretchy leggings, though. Never ignore the importance of fitted inner wear since they prevent your body from injuries.

Nowadays, you can buy dance clothes online instead of going to a dance clothing store since it is much more convenient since you wouldn’t have to travel around, waste energy on hunting around for the best ones or put in enough effort or even pay double the price for the same thing that is available online on a massive discount. You can also check online for dance costumes for sale, thus paying a much lower price compared to what the physical stores are asking you for. After all, we do not want to burn a hole in our pockets or feel guilty about our splurge.

Dancing is an art form, an expression of freedom. And as Rumi beautifully puts it, “Dance, when you're broken open. Dance, if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.”
